The FSI Executive Committee

The FSI Executive Committee, chaired by the FSI Director, is composed of twenty FSI Faculty and Senior Fellows. The Committee meets regularly during the academic year to discuss Institute business and to review and vote on proposed faculty appointments.

Advisory Board

The members of the Advisory Board, which meets twice a year, fill a crucial role in the life of the Institute by becoming informed advocates of FSI, both within the Stanford community and in those parts of the world that would benefit from the Institute's work. The Board serves as a bridge between the world of scholarship and the world of policy-making. It plays an important role in the development efforts of the Institute through identifying sources of funding for the Institute's new and existing programs.

International Advisory Council

The FSI International Advisory Council provides perspective and guidance for the Institute, projects and researchers, both as a body and as individuals. They include former heads of state, cabinet leaders, members of Congress, ambassadors, chairs and CEOs of major international corporations, scientist, publishers and academicians.
